Business and Human Rights Visiting Program in Germany and Brussels

The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom (FNF) organized a visiting program titled "Business and Human Rights," held from 14th to 20 April 2024 across Germany and Brussels. The initiative aimed to explore the integration of human rights into business practices, with a specific focus on complying with emerging EU and German regulatory frameworks.

The week-long program aimed to provide participants from Türkiye with an in-depth understanding of the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) and Germany's Supply Chain Act, emphasizing the legal and ethical obligations of businesses operating within the EU.

The "Business and Human Rights" visiting program by FNF Türkiye has set a benchmark for international collaboration in the realm of corporate responsibility. The knowledge and networks established during this program will support Turkish businesses in navigating the evolving landscape of business and human rights within the EU.
